Job Responsibilities
Service focus daily operations is a work-oriented activity where participants have the opportunity to try tasks similar to those in a regular workplace.
Here we create together a safe, clear, and meaningful everyday life where each individual can develop at their own pace.
With us, participants work in groups and are part of a work team where community, clarity, and support are central. Our participants have different conditions and needs, and we actively work to ensure that each person feels included, involved, and has the opportunity to succeed.
As an employee with us, you will play an important role in creating structure, context, and meaning in the participants' workday.
You are responsible for planning and structuring the workday together with the participants, based on their individual conditions and the needs of the operation. An important part of the work is to have ongoing dialogue with managers, method developers, caretakers, and other staff to identify, develop, and adapt tasks that suit our target group.
You are attentive to work tasks in our immediate environment or organization that may be relevant for our participants and actively contribute to creating new job opportunities.
The work is largely practical and physical, which means that heavy lifting, unpacking goods, and other physical tasks may occur in collaboration with both participants and colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a degree from the Health and Care program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability area that includes at least 200 YH credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and service for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You need to have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. If you do not meet the language requirement, you may need to take a language test through the test user Educateit.
It is meritorious if you have experience working within disability support and a good understanding of the target group's needs and conditions. We also appreciate if you have knowledge of LOV and previous experience in service work. Additionally, it is an advantage if you have documented experience in mentoring and feel comfortable in that role.
You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment and take responsibility for your tasks by driving the work forward. You are motivated to learn new things, come up with ideas, and take the initiative for improvements. You actively monitor developments in your professional field and reflect on what needs to be developed in the operation.
In your approach, you are attentive, positive, and solution-focused, and you want to help. You understand what those we are here for need and ensure that they are satisfied. You work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect, and you understand the common mission and work towards making it as good as possible.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You ensure that the work is completed on time and follow up on the results.
